We are going well, made it up to Ghorepani 🙂 approx. 3500 stairs by 10 am. We are off the road onto the trail. The views are fabulous, it is especially nice walking along near the river.  We have seen lots of mules, sheep, chickens, cats, and cuddled the dogs and puppies. 

The trip to the remote village and schools was amazing. The schools were nestled amongst the most beautiful mountains you’ve ever seen. It was so much fun to see the children enjoying their school. We had a real treat listening to the children singing the national anthem. . . So cute! 

What an amazing culture this is! The array of color, honking of horns, people everywhere and the organised chaos of traffic – seemingly no road rules, but everyone safely travelling the direction they need to go. The friendliness and politeness of the Nepalese people is beautiful. What a privilege to be able to visit such a place. I’m very pleased [….]

We are having the most wonderful trip. We are in Bumthang today for the second night.. Weather has been sunny and warm but is certainly colder hereOur guide and driver are great, and flexible  we feel like one happy family fortunate to be just 4 when we see some bigger groupsLooking forward to visiting a school and the Black Crane [….]

We are now into our last week of travelling for 6 weeks in the UK. I can honestly say that we have possible seem more of the UK than any of its residents. We have travelled 3500 miles through some of the most scenic landscape in the world. M favorite city without a doubt would be Kent, followed by Edinburgh [….]

We left Edinburgh today after spending Teo glorious days exploring one f the most beautiful cities n the world. As we travelled to Northumberland Coastal area we were amazed at its outstanding natural beauty. The Northumberland coast was designated in 1958 and covers 39 miles of coast, and within the stretch of coastline is some of the most dramatic scenery [….]

We are still travelling! Two days ago we left Wales behind, and one of our favourite and most scenic was the drive through Snowdonia National Park. Even though the weather was warmer than usual for this  time of year, cloudy and damp, the picturesque landscape was magnificent with its autumn leaves drifting down from the massive oak trees forming an amber [….]

. After our short stay in Gloucester  to visit my husbands cousin who he met for the first time, we set off to Wales, with a detailed map donated by his cousin. Our first stay was in Carmarthon a quaint Welsh village, where we had our first taste of delicious Welsh cakes. We set out the next day in rain, [….]
