Wow! What can I say that sums up our final few days in Bali. It was truly and indulgent yet adventurous trip for us all. I have to say, one of my favourite ways to travel, is to find places where you can escape the tourist crowds and immerse yourself in an authentic experience. From Kintamani and Ubud, to Tying Thali Village, Tembok and Undisan. There was so much to discover off the beaten path.
One place that stood out to us all was Tembok. Situated on the northeast coast, surrounded by breathtaking mountains and the Bali Sea. Our tranquil retreat and dedicated staff ensured our every comfort. The serene fishing village of Tembok offered a chance at snorkelling off the reef, luxurious spa treatments and relaxing meals by the sea. Not to mention the most brilliant sunsets and sunrises!
Our last few days in Bali were enjoyed in the village of Undisan. Here we were accompanied by a fabulous and very experienced 72 year old guide and cook. We had the pleasure of being guided by him on a walk to the local market. Shopping in local villages is a great way to escape the tourist crowds! We strolled through his village visiting family homes and purchasing vegetables for our cooking class!
On our final day the ladies managed to do some retail therapy in Seminyak before saying farewell to a wonder all women’s Bali Indulgence. There is something for everyone with Lyn Taylors Adventure Travel. But women’s only tours are truly my specialty! For so many women, choosing to join a solo female travel group is something that can be so empowering and freeing. Read what our adventurers had to say about Bali!
I love to bring people together to do the things that we love, from European tours and Asian adventures to destinations such as Bhutan, Nepal and Sri Lanka, there is something for every adventurer.
Until next time Bali!
