Our excursion took us to Victoria Island by ferry, we visited Arayanes forest which belongs to the Arayanes National park which covers 4000 hectares and has a population of 20 people mostly national park rangers and there families. On the Island there is a school, museum, small shop. The Arrayan is a small tree of Argentina and Chile and belongs the myrtle family and is usually found in humid areas and not commonly found in woods. These cinnamon barked growing trees and the age and height of the trees was amazing.
