Ambroseli National Park lies north west of Mt. Kilimanjaro on the border of Tanzania. On arrival at the Sova lodge we were not able to see the mountain due to low cloud. the following morning we had perfect weather with spectacular views of the mountain. We set out on our last game drive in Kenya, before flying to Rwanda and hopefully the highlight of our tour, trekking into the jungle and sighting the Gorilla’s. Wait for the next blog. On our last day in Nairobi we were taken to lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant were we feasted on beef, pork, chicken, ostrich and crocodile. Our last evening we were guests at our African tour agents home for yet another feast. No one leaves Eastern Africa without an extra 3 kgs of weight, and fond memories of their tour.
