Jumbo Jumbo is the greeting in Kenya for hello. Yesterday we were greeted at Nairobi by our guides after a champagne toast and exchange of gifts we checked into our hotel. This morning we departed our hotel in Nairobi to drive to Lake Nakuru situated 3 hours drive from Nairobi, on the way we had a brief stop to enjoy the breath taking views over the Great Rift Valley featuring the dormant caldera top of Mount Longonot, mt Suswa and Lake Naivasha in the distance.  then took us along the valley floor and within 1/2  hours we spotted zebra, giraffe and further along towards our destination were we entered the Lake Nakuru National Park we came across our first encounter of lions 2 females with their cubs. We checked into our luxurious accommodation and after a delicious lunch we are heading out on our first safari. Keep checking this blog for more excitement.
