All I can say about Machu Picchu is that it is absolutely amazing – words and pictures will not do it justice – even the road up is unbelievable!! However, today we are back in Cusco and went to the Inti Raymi (Festival of the Sun) – Cusco sure knows how to put on a festival with dancing and parade in the streets then a 2 hour celebration at Saqsaywaman – an archeological site just near town- amazing costumes and dancing from all the regions around southern Peru!

Did I tell you we ate guinea pig the other night – came out on the plate just like it sounds!
Tomorrow off to the Amazon for a few days to get warm before returning to the cold at home next week – We’ve had perfect weather for 4 weeks though cold at night! Thank you so much Lyn for an amazing tour.
