We arrived in Kathmandu to crazy traffic, trucks, motorbikes,rickshaws,pedestrians and livestock all jostling for space on the road. Excitement grows as chaos bus through narrow streets in Kathmandu runs gauntlet through the goats and children, and brazen rickshaw boys unmoved by tune full blowing of horns and  shouting. The dust from the construction of the new road from the airport to the city is choking. I will be  surprised if it is ever finished.. We are all looking forward to departing for Pokhara today and breathing in the clean air and seeing our first glimpse of the magnificent mountains. Our trek to Poon Hill begins!
