Our group arrived in Kathmandu on Friday 1st April after an easy entry through customs we then proceeded to Bhaktapur for the night. It is the start of Nepali New Year so there are many exciting celebrations. The local people of Bhaktapur are in the process of completing the chariot and decorating homes and shops. Our afternoon was spent shopping and sightseeing this amazing city. Saturday we departed for Nargakot the weather is perfect with fabulous views of the mountains at both sunset and sunrise. Today we are in Chitwan the girls have just returned from their elephant safari where they saw rhino and several species of deer. Elephant washing in the Rapti river was the highlight of the day and this afternoon we will take a canoe ride down the river and visit the elephant breeding camp.
