We arrived Kathmandu by flight from Pokhara and today we have been sightseeing to Durbar Square, the ladies have been having a wonderful time buying pashminas and gifts to take home to their loved ones. POKHARA We departed Chitwan for our drive by private vehicle to Pokhara an approx. 4 hours drive with many interesting sites on the way. We have arrived at Chitwan National Park Nepal and what an exciting 2 days, riding and bathing elephants, searching for the elusive bengal tiger but only to see footprints but not to be disappointed as we spotted many rhino’s with baby’s, sloth bear and spotted deer. Day 1 As our aircraft approached Bhutan’s Paro International Airport we were amazed at the scene the snow-clad slopes gave way to beautiful forests of pine and rhododendron trees, and just below the tree line, verdant valleys and white water rivers gave way to fields of green.
